DAY 1 Hangzhou

West Lake - Hangzhou Feilai Peak - Lingyin Temple - Meijiawu Tea Village

Our first stop will be the picturesque West Lake, Hangzhou's signature attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As the famous traveler Marco Polo praised, "Sailing on this lake is more pleasant, refreshment and fun than any other experience on earth."

Next, you will visit Feilai Peak, also known as the "Faraway Flying Peak". According to legend, this peak was flown to China from India on a mission to spread Buddhism.

We will continue to visit the neighboring Lingyin Temple, a temple that is nearly 1,700 years old and one of the oldest and most popular temples in Hangzhou.

In the afternoon, drive to Meijiawu Tea Culture Village to experience the beauty of the tea plantation and have the option to participate in tea picking and tea tasting activities.

After the journey to Hangzhou, we will take you to Suzhou by train, where you will stay the night in the beautiful Tongli water town and get a good rest for tomorrow's journey.

DAY 2 Hangzhou - Suzhou

After breakfast, you will take the train from Hangzhou to Suzhou.

Firstly, visit the Lingering Garden, one of the Four Great Gardens of China, incorporating all the classic features of Suzhou gardens. Afterwards, take a stroll to the Shantang Ancient Street to experience the trading and cultural centre of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

In the afternoon, you will embark on a journey to explore Suzhou's Tiger Hill, which is rich in historical sites. As Su Shi, a famous poet of the Song Dynasty (960-1279), said, "If you have been to Suzhou and have not been to Tiger Hill, it is really a regret of your life." There is also the Sword Pond, which is said to be the place where King He Lu of Wu tested and buried his treasured sword 2,500 years ago. In addition to its rich historical heritage, Tiger Hill is also an excellent place to take a walk, admire the natural scenery and experience local customs.

Afterwards, you will proceed to Suzhou No.1 Silk Factory to witness the magical transformation of silk from silkworm to finished product and gain a deeper understanding of the history and culture of Chinese silk.

DAY 3 Suzhou - Shanghai - Departure

After breakfast, you will take the train to Shanghai.

First, you will visit Yu Garden for a classic taste, and then visit the "Eye of Shanghai" for a modern urban look.

Then you will stroll along the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street to experience the bustling commercial atmosphere.

Finally arrive at the Bund to enjoy the stunning scenery of the Huangpu River.
