Introduction:
Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR), abbreviated as “Xin”, is the largest provincial-level administrative region in China in terms of land area, located in northwestern China, with an area of approximately 1,664,900 square kilometers, accounting for about one-sixth of China's total land area. Xinjiang is one of China's five minority autonomous regions, with Urumqi as its capital. It is not only the largest provincial-level administrative region in China, but also shares borders with eight countries, namely Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Mongolia, India and Afghanistan, making it a strategically important location.
