DAY 1 Hangzhou - Xitang Ancient Town

Our first stop will be the picturesque West Lake, Hangzhou's signature attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As the famous traveler Marco Polo praised, "Sailing on this lake is more pleasant, refreshment and fun than any other experience on earth."

Next, you will visit Feilai Peak, also known as the "Faraway Flying Peak". According to legend, this peak was flown to China from India on a mission to spread Buddhism.

We will continue to visit the neighboring Lingyin Temple, a temple that is nearly 1,700 years old and one of the oldest and most popular temples in Hangzhou.

In the afternoon, drive to Meijiawu Tea Culture Village to experience the beauty of the tea plantation and have the option to participate in tea picking and tea tasting activities.

Finally, you will take the train to Jiashan South Station, and at night you will stay at Xitang Ancient Town to have a good rest ready to start tomorrow's journey.

Xitang Ancient Town, a thousand-year-old water town in Jiangnan, attracts countless tourists with its unique architectural style and water town scenery. Once you enter the ancient town, you will feel as if you are in a water town painting, which will make you feel the flavour of Jiangnan water town.

In the ancient town, you can stroll on the stone road and enjoy the surrounding scenery. On both sides of the street, there are various food stalls and handicraft shops. You can not only taste local specialities such as stinky tofu and sugar gourds, but also buy some exquisite handicrafts as souvenirs.
