DAY 1 Hangzhou

Our first stop will be the picturesque West Lake, Hangzhou's signature attraction and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As the famous traveler Marco Polo praised, "Sailing on this lake is more pleasant, refreshment and fun than any other experience on earth."

Next, you will visit Feilai Peak, also known as the "Faraway Flying Peak". According to legend, this peak was flown to China from India on a mission to spread Buddhism.

We will continue to visit the neighboring Lingyin Temple, a temple that is nearly 1,700 years old and one of the oldest and most popular temples in Hangzhou.

In the afternoon, drive to Meijiawu Tea Culture Village to experience the beauty of the tea plantation and have the option to participate in tea picking and tea tasting activities.

DAY 2 Hangzhou

After breakfast, your guide and driver will take you for a stroll along Hefang Street, where you can admire the quaint Chinese architecture, explore the exquisite handicrafts, savour the authentic snacks and experience the unique charm of Hangzhou.

Afterwards, we will head to Hu Qing Yu Chinese Pharmacy - this century-old pharmacy is not only a treasure of Chinese medicine, but also a vivid museum of Chinese medicine. Here, you will marvel at the magic and wisdom of Chinese medicine, appreciate the richness of Chinese herbs and ancient pharmaceutical tools, and feel the profoundness of Chinese medicine.

Then, we will head to Wulinmen Pier for a sightseeing cruise on the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. With a history of more than 2,500 years, this canal is one of China's three major projects and a World Heritage Site.

Then, we will start an interesting cultural journey. Qiaoxi Historical and Cultural District was once a prosperous place during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and was known as "Little Shanghai". Nowadays, it still preserves many old residential and industrial sites, demonstrating the cultural charm of Hangzhou and the Grand Canal. Here, you will visit the Chinese Knives, Scissors and Swords Museum, where you will learn the story behind Zhang Xiaoquan, a famous brand with a history of nearly 400 years, and the evolution of various military defence swords and knives.

Immediately after, we will head to the Chinese Umbrella Museum to explore the origin and evolution of the world's first umbrella. The Craft Demonstration Hall will present you with oil-paper umbrella painting and live production of various handicrafts, allowing you to appreciate the exquisite skills of traditional Chinese craftsmanship. If you are interested, you can also choose to participate in one of the handicraft activities to experience the charm of traditional culture (additional fee required).

At the end of the tour, your guide and driver will transfer you to Hangzhou Airport or Railway Station for your next journey or trip home. We wish you a pleasant journey and look forward to serving you again!
