DAY 1 Leshan

Chengdu - Leshan Giant Buddha

Welcome to Chengdu, which is known as the "Land of Abundance".
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven about 2 hours from Chengdu to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Leshan Giant Buddha, which with a total height of 71 meters is the largest Buddha statue in the world.

You can climb the hill to the Buddha's head department for a closer look, and then walk down the stone steps to its foot to enjoy the full view.
(Please note that you may have to queue if you visit the Big Buddha during peak hours.)

Then you will leave the Giant Buddha area and enjoy an amazing 30-minute boat ride. The boat will take you to the front of the Giant Buddha to enjoy the wonderful panoramic view.

After sightseeing in Leshan, you will be transferred back to Chengdu.

DAY 2 Chengdu

In the morning, you will be picked up by your guide and transferred to the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Chengdu. Here is the cozy home of more than a hundred of pandas of different ages.You can observe pandas up close and learn facts about pandas.

In the afternoon, you will step into Chengdu People's Park to experience the unique leisure and ease of this city. The relaxation of napping, the clash of mahjong, the joy of natural ear cleaning.

Next, we drove to Wuhou Shrine, which is known as the "mecca of the Three Kingdoms" for it is China's only shrine where emperor and ministers are enshrined together, the most venerated memorial of Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei and other important Shu Han individuals, and the world's most influential Three Kingdoms relics museum.

At nightfall, you will step into the old streets of Jinli. You will be tempted by a wide range of food, exquisite handicrafts and interesting folklore performances.

Recommend for Evening Activities

1) Enjoy a delicious Sichuan cuisine/hotpot at a local restaurant. Sichuan's food culture is rich and colorful, letting you taste and feel the unique charm of Chengdu.
2) Watch a wonderful Sichuan Opera show, including folk opera, face-changing, spitting fire, rolling lanterns and other delightful entertainment (these are usually performed between 20:00~21:30).
