DAY 1 Chengdu Arrival

Welcome to Chengdu, which is known as the "Land of Abundance". After Arriving in Chengdu, you will experience the unique charm of the city.

Our professional tour guide will be waiting at the airport and arrange a comfortable car to transfer you to your hotel. Upon arrival, you can take a short break to recover from jet lag.

If you would like to explore the surroundings in advance, your guide will provide you with practical advice.

2. Watch a Chinese kung fu or theater show and you can ask guide to buy tickets for you.

DAY 2 Chengdu - Leshan - Emeishan

Chengdu - Leshan Giant Buddha - Emeishan Baoguo Temple

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven about 2 hours from Chengdu to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Leshan Giant Buddha, which with a total height of 71 meters is the largest Buddha statue in the world.

You can climb the hill to the Buddha's head department for a closer look, and then walk down the stone steps to its foot to enjoy the full view.
(Please note that you may have to queue if you visit the Big Buddha during peak hours.)

After visiting the Giant Buddha, you can drive for about 45 minutes to the largest temple at the foot of Mount Emei,the Baoguo Temple.

Optional Activities

You can join an amazing 30-minute boat cruise.(at an additional cost) The boat will take you to the front of the Giant Buddha to enjoy the wonderful panoramic view.

DAY 3 Emeishan - Chengdu

Mount Emei - Leidongping - the Golden Summit

After breakfast you will visit Mount Emei. One of the few World Heritage Sites that is both a cultural and natural heritage You will first arrive at Lei Dong Ping (2400 meters above sea level), you will walk along the stone steps for about 30 minutes to reach the cable car station and you will have the chance to see wild monkeys along the way.

Then take a cable car (about 5 minutes) to reach the Golden Summit (3,077 meters), which is the biggest highlight and essence of Mount Emei. It can be called the largest and highest place of worship of Chinese Buddhism in the world.

After about 1.5 hours of sightseeing at the Golden Peak, return to the tour center. Then your car is ready to transfer you to Chengdu (about 2.5~3 hours).

DAY 4 Chengdu

The Sanxingdui Ruins - Chengdu People's Park - Jinli Street

In the morning, you will visit the Sanxingdui Ruins, which is dubbed as one of the world's greatest archeological discoveries of the 20th century.

In the afternoon, you will step into Chengdu People's Park to experience the unique leisure and ease of this city. The relaxation of napping, the clash of mahjong, the joy of natural ear cleaning.

At nightfall, you will step into the old streets of Jinli. You will be tempted by a wide range of food, exquisite handicrafts and interesting folklore performances.

DAY 5 Chengdu

Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding - Wenshu Monastery - Chunxi Road

Early in the morning, you will visit the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Chengdu. Here is the cozy home of more than a hundred of pandas of different ages.You can observe pandas up close and learn facts about pandas.

After lunch, you are about to set foot in the Wenshu Monastery, which is rich in history and culture. Once a famous Buddhist temple during the Tang Dynasty, it has now become a sacred place for tourism full of divine meaning.

Finally, you will go to the Chunxi Road. You can walk between the stores and pick up your favorite products; You can taste Chengdu's specialties and let your taste buds dance in the spicy and fresh aroma; and there are also super cute wall-climbing pandas waiting for you to visit!

DAY 6 Chengdu Departure
