Mount Tianzishan
Mount Tianzishan, located in Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, China, is one of the main peaks of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and one of the most representative and magnificently landscaped places in the park. It is famous for its precipitous, majestic and unique natural landscape. The mountain is treacherous and peaked, with the main peak at 1,262.5 metres above sea level, making it one of the highest peaks in the entire Zhangjiajie area. Climbing up Mount Tianzishan, you can overlook the wide forest coverage and picturesque landscape scenery, especially at sunrise and sunset when the clouds and mist make the scenery more mysterious and magnificent.
The main attractions include the Glass Bridge, the Ropeway and its Peak Observation Deck. The glass bridge spans between the two peaks of Mount Tianzishan and is 430 metres long, making it one of the longest, highest and most transparent glass bridges in the world. Walking on the bridge, with the bottomless canyon under your feet and the mountain peaks surrounding you, you experience an extremely exciting and shocking glass walk.
The Ropeway is a convenient way to reach the top of Mount Tianzishan. The ropeway is 745 metres long, and it takes just a few minutes to reach the viewing platform at the top of the mountain. From the ropeway, visitors can get a bird's eye view of Mount Tianzishan and experience the majesty of the high mountain peaks. The Peak Observation Deck, on the other hand, is the perfect location to watch the sunrise and sunset, with its iron railing, where visitors can enjoy the unrivalled natural beauty and magnificent sea of clouds spectacle.
